Peliaguda is a series about self-identity, censorship and the boundaries between craft and fine art.   The technique was inspired by  a trip with my mother to the Festival International de Patchwork Sitges 2014.  My mother taught me to sew at a very young age by proxy.  Her quilts are art pieces even she does not call herself an artist.  Peliaguda is a Spanish word meaning something that is dificult to understand.  This series was selected for the Selectionats ’14 exhibition of Cercle Artistic de Sant LLuc Col·lectiva ’14.
